LDSF is seeking additional management committee members including an Honorary Secretary and Treasurer. Do nominate yourself or a willing friend by writing to chairman@lewesdistrictseniors.org.uk.

The Management Committee meets about monthly for a couple of hours. It organises and oversees the business of the Forum. The Secretary's duties include taking minutes of the committee meetings, corresponding and keeping the Forum's records. The Treasurer's duties include keeping the accounts, issuing cheques, providing the accounts to committee meetings and to the AGM.

LDSF current membership is 304 with 8 committee members (28 July 2009).

Prospective committee members are asked to indicate their particular interest in one or two of the following: transport & roads; health & social care; crime & safety; age discrimination; disability & access; further learning; safe finance & pensions; staying at home.
